Six The Musical

If you are in search of a night of elegance, beauty, and talent, then you don’t want to miss out on Six the Musical’s most recent Broadway show in New York, New York. The premise is remarkably simple. Six sees the wives of Henry VIII compete for the saddest story. Anne Boleyn, portrayed perfectly by the boisterous Millie O’Connell, insists that getting beheaded is the ultimate end to a difficult existence, something perhaps only the downtrodden and equally headless Catherine Howard (Aimie Atkinson) could match. Yet each of the title’s six has their own story of woe, and more importantly, their own sense of empowerment to portray. So secure your ticket today by clicking the Buy Ticket button, and treat yourself to an inspiring night.

On Friday 19th April 2024 SIX: The Musical will reverberate within the walls of the Lena Horne Theatre with a passionate lyrical debate among the ex-wives of Henry VIII, taking on the age-old query: Who's the unluckiest of them all?

"SIX TOTALLY RULES! THE PLACE TO BE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR GENUINELY EMPOWERED, EMPOWERING MEGASTARS." - The New York Times.

Meet the ill-fated dames of misfortune, from the OG queen consort Catherine of Aragon to Catherine Parr, "the one who survived." SIX: The Musical boldly reimagines over four decades of 16th-century heartbreaks into a Tudors Got Talent sing-off of 21st-century energy. Singing contagiously captivating tunes like "Ex-wives," "Don't Lose Ur Head," and "Megasix,'' this colorfully attired sextet will amaze all those bearing witness to their 80-minute tribute to modern-day pop music and female dominance.

Directed and penned by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX proudly exhibits the further behind-the-scenes talents that won it numerous awards, including the 2022 Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Costume Design, as well as an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Musical.

"As a creator, all you can aspire for is that somebody at some point takes something from [it], whether that's a laugh, or like to think about once you've exited the theater, or a emotion that lingers with you… I am incredibly delighted and unbelievably grateful that we possess the opportunity to offer this creation out there, which elicits uplifting and inspiring feelings," recalls director/writer Toby Marlow in an discussion earlier this year.

Don't stay quiet. Do not whisper. Take these insights to heart on Friday 19th April 2024 when SIX: The Musical leaves its mark at the Lena Horne Theatre, New York. Purchase your tickets now!
