Lena Horne Theatre | New York, New York
If you are in search of a night of class, grace, and talent, then you don’t want to skip Six the Musical’s most recent Broadway performance in New York, New York. The premise is remarkably simple. Six sees the wives of Henry VIII compete for the saddest tale. Anne Boleyn, played brilliantly by the boisterous Millie O’Connell, insists that being beheaded is the ultimate end to a difficult existence, something perhaps only the downtrodden and equally headless Catherine Howard (Aimie Atkinson) could match. Yet each of the title’s six has their own tale of woe, and more importantly, their own sense of empowerment to deliver. So buy your ticket today by clicking the Buy Ticket button, and treat yourself to an inspiring night.
It may be set in Tudor times but trust us, it is spoken very much in the 21st century. The wives are young, fun and totally up on their lingo. You’ll want to catch more musicals that sound like us millennial’s. Straight away it feels welcoming and ‘for you’. Language is changing and it’s amazing that more and more Musical’s are showing that. If you are a true SIX fan, then you absolutely HAVE TO come and watch this incredible show that is being hotly anticipated all over the country.
